Diary report of being in India, october 14th

Day 4 Oktober 14th, Jule Brunken
On monday we had to stand up early because we want to travel to Jalandhar. But before this Ines and I took a shower with a lizard again and we don't like it.. For breakfast we had some delicious bread with radish. After arriving school we started our trip by bus. Around 10 a.m. we reached the LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY. We drove around the hole campus which is really large - very impressive ! This took a lot of time so we started to drove to the science city around 12 a.m. We went in different funny simulators and had a lot of fun! Furthermore we watched a small theatre show about global warming and its effects and alternatives but the most of us Germans know that already. Between the shows and simulators we got to eat from there and I learned how to say that you can't eat anymore in punjabi: main hor nahin kha skdi (girls) / skda (boys) - thanks to Smile and Bhrigu! For dinner we drove to Haveli a place full of punjabi tradition. That was really amazing but after some time there was so many flies and mosquitoes! The dinner was so delicious that I can't stop to eat! At the end of the day we were all tired and just want to sleep but we had to drove back to the university to stay there.

Day 4, Monday october 14th, Tomke B.
On Monday morning we started our trip to Jalandhar, so we had to get up early. We meet our group at 7o'clock in the School and started our trip there. So all students go in the busses. First we drove to the Lovely Professional University where we started with a little introduction and getting some snacks, like everywhere in India. After that we all go in our busses to start a sightseeingtour of the hole Campus, it was very big. Unbelievable they have almost 25000 students there. After we finished the tour over the University, we drove to the Science City. There we watched a Movie about the Grand Canyon and go to some other shows like the 3D theather or a Laser show. We also could go in a flight Simulator. It was very funny there! Between those activities we go to a restaurant where we all had dinner. We also go to another room where we watched a movie about the climate change. While our free time I drove with my exchange partner and some other german people with a boating over the little sea and we go to the swing and had there a lot of fun. We leave the park with in a good mood. Furthermore we drove to a cultural place where we see a lot of traditional things of Punjab. Some of us rode a camel and enjoyed this very much. We saw a dancer group which performed some great dancer for the visitors. After that show we started with our dinner. It was so delicious. So I asked my exchange partner Smile what the food was really tasty in Punjab is called :"Khana swad hä” (the writing is like it sounds).
Some of us recognize that the toilettes there were very clean so almost everyone take the chance to go there before droving to our hostel. Because it was getting late we go to our busses and started with the last trip for this day. We were going to stay the night in some rooms of the University which we visited this day. After everyone got a room to sleep we started in a good night.
